The
granite memorial was chosen for Steve's many years of service to our
country in the United States Air Force and the Delaware Air
National Guard.

The tree is a river oak that thrives by the water that
Steve so loved. It grows strong and tall signifying Steve's
physical strength. The trees' overflowing branches provide
shelter and food around it as did Steve for his family and friends.
This tree, along with the granite memorial, will be a rememberance
to celebrate Steve's life, his unconditional love, fighting spirit and
kindness that we all know and love. "FALLEN HEROES ARE
NEVER FORGOTTEN."
